Jones (ankle) left Brentford Stadium on crutches, but Jota's injury (knee) appears to be the biggest concern. The decision to send Nunez off at half-time was more of a precaution.
"We have to see how much it costs. We don't know yet," said Klopp, who was without Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dominik Shobuschlai and Alisson through injury last week.
"Curtis Jones was hit above his ankle. He wasn't 100% sure what it was. The fact that Curtis wasn't able to continue playing says something about the fact that he would have continued playing at any cost.
"Diogo Jota looks terrible. I haven't seen it again, but I heard the pictures (of the incident) weren't very good. I'll have to take a look." Klopp added: "It would be useful to have more than one game per position because you can count the upcoming games. We have a problem where we don't know how big it is. As long as we have 11 players. , I’ll try."
Despite having a chance to win his first silver medal of the season the following Sunday, Klopp did not want to miss out on Luton's visit.
"I can't think about the final. I have to think about Luton," he said. "Luton deserves our focus and attention and we will have our eyes set on the final." After that, we will see how we can play in the next game. "
Analysis: Liverpool are scary regardless of injuries
Liverpool could face up to nine players absent for next Sunday's Carabao Cup final against Chelsea. Matches against Manchester City and Everton will soon follow. Manager Jurgen Klopp said his team was struggling ahead of a crucial phase of the season, which will see them compete on four fronts.
There were certainly no signs of that in the Premier League leaders' 4-1 win over Brentford on Saturday. Mohamed Salah has garnered attention since his return, scoring and assisting off the bench. Another substitute Kodi Gakpo achieved the same feat.
Few teams will be able to improve their performance after losing their biggest threats, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez. Klopp is right, as losing depth at this critical juncture could potentially be damaging, but they have their own strong forward formations to deal with such eventualities.
Liverpool have averaged three goals per game in the four games Salah missed through injury, and with Nunez unlikely to be out for an extended period of time, there's no reason why the strikers can't get back into the game without Jota. As for the goal: "I felt (Kyle Walker) come in quick, so I turned right away and luckily got the goal."
Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola told BBC Match of the Day after the draw with Chelsea: That was a good match. "
"We played unbelievably well in the second half. We weren't at our level in the first half, but to keep up with these teams you have to play 90 minutes, not just half."
Manager Pochettino commented on Chelsea's performance: ``It was good, congratulations.'' If he believes that, it's good for his team.
Ahead of Tuesday's game against Brentford: "We'll play on Tuesday and try to get points. There's no meassage to the fans [don't panic]. I'm going to focus on my team However, I am disappointed with this result. We gave our all and the match ended at 1-1.
Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola said in an interview with Sky Sports: ``It was a good game. We didn't perform very well in the first half, but we really improved in the second half.'' We had chances and we were better in the second half.
"I can't give too much advice to Erling (Haaland) because I played for 11 years and scored 11 goals. He will score in the next game. We didn't have a good performance in the first half. So we have to improve on that.
